Kazakhstan’s Leader to Present Candidacy of new Prime Minister at Key Meeting

ASTANA: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is going to attend plenary meeting of the Lower House of the country’s parliament on Tuesday, local media reported. As per Kazakhstan’s law, a new prime minister’s candidacy to be presented to MPs for endorsement.

Earlier, on Monday Tokayev dismissed the government in the Central Asian country.  As per media reports, Roman Sklyar will also serve as interim PM. The government members will also continue to perform their jobs and duties until the new composition is approved.
