BISHKEK: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov attended the inauguration of the Perinatal Center at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare, reported the press service of the head of state.
The facility built in collaboration with the German Development Bank (KfW) under the Protection of Maternal and Child Health — IV-V project.
Emphasizing its significance, President Japarov highlighted the center’s role in achieving strategic objectives for maternal protection and newborn health.
The high-tech facility is designed to provide medical care to pregnant women and newborns with pathologies, equipped with modern operating rooms, resuscitation facilities, luxury wards, and other medical services.
The Perinatal Center, spanning 4,000 square meters, is set to commence operations in February 2024.
