RAWALPINDI: The 2nd meeting of Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and Turkiye trilateral defence collaboration was held at GHQ, Rawalpindi, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 2nd meeting of Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and Turkiye trilateral defence collaboration was held on 8. The ISPR said, “The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss prospective collaboration in defence equipment technologies including research and development.”

The ISPR maintained, “The three sides reaffirmed the significance of combining the intellectual, technical, financial and human resource of the three friendly countries towards the achievement of shared objectives and attainment of self-sufficiency in the defence domain.”

The ISPR said, “Acknowledging the historical brotherly ties, the three nations reiterated the strategic intent to increase the scope of trilateral cooperation and the need to enhance the pace of collaboration in pursuit of common goals.”

The ISPR further said, “Three sides agreed to convene next meeting on Trilateral Defence Industrial Collaboration during World Defence Show at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during February 2024.
