MELBOURNE: The Pakistan cricket team visited the indoor practice session nets of the Australian players, extended warm wishes, and presented Christmas gifts to them and their families at the MCG.
A heartwarming video capturing the gesture quickly went viral on social media, showcasing the camaraderie between the players on both sides. Australian skipper Pat Cummins was visibly touched by the thoughtful presents.
Pat Cummins Appreciates Pakistan’s Christmas Gifts
Holding one of the gifts, Cummins expressed his appreciation, stating, “That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We have got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us.”
In another festive event, the Pakistan Cricket Board hosted a Christmas dinner at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The dinner was attended by Chairman Management Committee Zaka Ashraf, along with top PCB officials and Christian employees.
