Azerbaijan and Pakistan Resolve to Strengthen Economic Collaboration

ISLAMABAD: In a strategic meeting on Monday, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Energy Power and Petroleum, Ali Muhammad, and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, discussed economic relations between the two countries. 

During the meeting, they discussed new avenues for economic cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries. 

Collaboration Between Pakistan and Azerbaijan

Minister Ali Muhammad underscored the significance of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the field of energy. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan recently procured liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Azerbaijan for the month of December, addressing the country’s energy requirements.

Expressing his appreciation, Minister Ali Muhammad acknowledged Azerbaijan’s notable presence at COP 28, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Ambassador Khazar Farhadov highlighted the strong bond shared between the two countries as brotherly nations. He expressed a robust commitment to transforming this fraternal relationship into enhanced economic collaboration.

The discussions reflected Pakistan and Azerbaijan’s mutual determination to foster economic ties and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
