RAWALPINDI: Armed Forces of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs on Sunday paid glowing tribute to Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider on his 52nd Shahadat Anniversary, the military said in a statement.
“During the 1971 war at Zafarwal Shakargarh Sector, Sowar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed’s fearless actions and indomitable courage inflicted heavy losses upon the enemy and single handedly destroyed 16 Indian Tanks” the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

It added that Sowar Muhammad Hussain’s martyrdom anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices made by the country’s Armed Forces to defend the motherland.
“Let us remember these heroes who have laid down their lives in defense of motherland. The nation is proud of its gallant sons” the ISPR further said.
