Gold Price Up By Rs.3,100 to Settle at Rs.223,600 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After continuous increase since the start of the week, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed another major increase by Rs.3,100 on Saturday in Pakistan and was available in the market at Rs.223,600 against its sale at Rs. 220,500 on the previous day. 

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went up by Rs.2,658 to settle at Rs.191,701 from its previous rates of Rs.189,043 whereas the Price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold increased up to Rs.175,726 from last Price of Rs. 173,290.

However, like the last couple of days, the Price per tola and ten grams of the white plate (Silver) remained constant at Rs.2,550 and 2,186.21, respectively. 

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local market, the Price of the yellow plate in the international market also witnessed an increase and went up by $31 to settle at $2,091 per ounce against its last-day Price of $.2,060 per ounce.

The Price of gold in the domestic bullion market is usually influenced by the Price in the international market and sometimes due to the depreciation of the local currency. The last couple of days witnessed a continuous increase in Prices in the international market, affecting the local market.
