Gold Price in International Market
Like the local bullion market, the rates for the precious metal in the international market also witnessed a slight increase and went up by $3 to settle at $2,033 per ounce against $2,030 the last day.
The Price of the yellow plate in the local bullion market is usually influenced by the rates in the international market and sometimes due to the depreciation of the local currency. The last three days also witnessed a slight devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee by Rs0.51 against the dollar, which influenced the price of gold in the local market.
