LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s sons – who live in the United Kingdom (UK) -arrived in Lahore on Thursday to inquire about his health after the assassination attempt on him in Wazirabad last week.
The former prime ministers’ sons Suleman and Qasim live in UK with their mother Jemima Goldsmith, and they last visited Pakistan in 2016.
Imran along with his party leaders and workers, including Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Ahmed Chattha, and Omer Meyer was injured in an attack on him during the party’s long march in Wazirabad on November 4. One party worker was also killed in the attack.
After the attack, Imran Khan halted his long march, only to resume it today (Thursday) where the senior party leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi is leading the protesters. While Imran Khan addressed the participants via video link.
