ISLAMABAD: After going up slightly (Rs200), last day, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold went down by Rs.2,400 and was available in the market at Rs.211,800 on Saturday compared Rs.214,200 on the previous day.
Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of the yellow metal also decreased by Rs.2,058 to settle at Rs.181,584 from its previous rates of Rs.183,642 whereas the prices of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold decreased to Rs.166,452 from the previous price of Rs168,338.
Like the previous day, the price of per tola and ten grams of white plate (Silver) observed no change and remained constant at Rs.2,580 and 2,211.93 respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local bullion market, the price of the precious metal in the international market also witnessed a decrease and went down by $20 to settle at $1,968 per ounce from its last day rates of $1,988 per ounce.
Price of the yellow plate in the local market mostly influenced by the price in the international market or some time due to the devaluation of the local currency against the American dollar.
