RAWALPINDI: In a series of extensive operations conducted across the country, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) achieved significant success, recovering a total of 108 kilograms of drugs and apprehending three individuals. These operations represent a resolute effort to combat drug trafficking and ensure the safety of communities.
One operation, carried out on the Super Highway in Karachi, led to the seizure of 24.8 kilograms of hashish from an individual hailing from Kohat. This operation also resulted in the arrest of a co-accused, a resident of Karachi, based on information provided by the first suspect.
In another operation conducted at the Jinnah International Airport’s Karachi Courier Office, ANF personnel uncovered 180 grams of the illicit drug known as “Ice” from a parcel destined for Dubai. This successful interdiction demonstrates the ANF’s commitment to intercepting drug shipments before they leave the country.
The ANF’s efforts extended to Quetta, where they discovered 30 kilograms of hashish cleverly concealed within vehicle doors on Sibi Road. During this operation, an individual from Naseerabad was taken into custody. These operations not only confiscate illicit substances but also disrupt the networks involved in drug trafficking.

Additional operations targeted the districts of Chagai and Kach, unearthing a substantial cache of drugs intended for smuggling. Among the recovered items were 25 kilograms of hashish, 8 kilograms of heroin, 1 kilogram of opium, 30 grams of “Ice” drug, and 20 kilograms of prohibited materials. These seizures reflect the determination of the ANF to combat the drug trade in all its forms.
In response to these successful operations, separate cases have been registered against the accused individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act. The ANF continues its rigorous efforts to investigate and dismantle drug trafficking networks, with the aim of safeguarding communities from the harmful effects of narcotics.
