LONDON: The Federation of Sikh Organizations, a body of Sikh groups in the United Kingdom (UK), held a protest in front of the Indian High Commission in London on Monday.
The protesters reiterated their demand for an Independent Khalistan state for Sikhs in India. They also chanted slogans against the Narendra Modi government in India.
The protesting Sikh leaders urged the UK government to review its relations with India. They called for the investigations of the death of Sikh leader Avtar Singh Khanda who died in mysterious conditions in Brimingham.
Protesters Burn Indian Flag
The angry protesters burned the Indian flag and chanted anti-India slogans.
Meanwhile, police arrested the Sikh leader Gurcharan Singh.
