LONDON: Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) on Wednesday agreed to strengthen the institutional coordination for further improving bilateral ties.
The bilateral relations were discussed in a meeting between Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and UK’s Minister of State Lord Tariq Ahmed, on the sidelines of the tenth Commonwealth Youth Ministerial Meeting held at the Commonwealth Headquarters.
In the meeting, the two ministers discussed in detail the bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction over the current trajectory of relations.
They agreed to take steps for further promotion of bilateral ties.

Pakistan-UK Joint Strategy
The ministers held deliberations over the formulation of a joint strategy to enhance bilateral trade cooperate in climate change and education sectors.
Both Foreign Minister Jilani and Lord Tariq appreciated the services of the overseas Pakistani community for the two nations.
