RAWALPINDI: At least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Hoshab area, the Pakistan military said on Wednesday.
ISPR said that the intelligence-based operation was carried out to clear a hideaway of terrorists linked to firing targeting security forces and civilians, besides planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) on M-8 in the area of Talsar, Hoshab.

ISPR said, “As the security forces were in the process of establishing blocking positions after identification of terrorists’ location to cut the escape routes, terrorists opened fire onto the security forces,”.

“During the ensuing heavy exchange of fire, all 4 terrorists have been killed, while a cache of weapons and ammunition including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) has been recovered,” ISPR said.
