ISLAMABAD: At least 10 children were killed after a boat carrying tourists capsized in Tanda Dam in Kohat on Sunday.
According to a private media report, 10 children died after a boat carrying 25 tourists including students aged between 10-15 years from a local religious seminary (Madrasah) overturned in Tanda Dam of Kohat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Rescue-1122 called to rescue seminary students
Deputy Commissioner Kohat said due to the non-availability of divers in Kohat, a team was later called from Peshawar. He said the divers managed to rescue eight other students alive from dam. — APP
