ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party President Asif Ali Zardari has sent a legal notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan over allegation of assassination plot.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been sent a legal notice of Rs 10 billion in damages by former President Asif Zardari, in which he has been asked to tender an unconditional apology within 14 days.

Legal notice

Farooq Naek sent the legal notice on behalf of former President Asif Zardari, in which it is said that on January 27, Imran Khan accused former President Asif Zardari in his speech on the national media, that he was facing death threats from Asif Zardari and he has planned the assassination of Imran Khan.

It has been said in the legal notice that in this regard, does Imran Khan have solid evidence? This is a complete allegation and slander, it has created many doubts, so Imran Khan should give a clear stand to the court and the evidence should be brought forward.

The notice further states that if Imran Khan does apologize, the damage to his reputation should be redressed.

It should be noted that Chairman PTI Imran Khan in his speech last days accused that ‘A plan ‘C’ has been made, Asif Zardari is behind it, he has immense money of corruption, and he wanted to kill me. This money has been given to a terrorist organization.
