LUSAKA, ZAMBIA: Police said that 24 people were killed on Saturday when a bus carrying churchgoers to a religious service collided with a truck in southern Zambia.
24 Killed in Bus Accident
According to reports, 12 people were critically injured in the accident, including the driver. According to police spokesman Danny Mwale, the deceased people have been identified as 23 girls and one male. It added that the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Because of poor road conditions and reckless driving, fatal traffic accidents are common in Zambia.
