ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has reaffirmed that Pakistan is a land of peace, and its triumphs represent the victory of peace itself.
Speaking during a special interaction with students and teachers from Islamabad’s schools and colleges, the military spokesman expressed confidence in the country’s future, saying the young generation’s solidarity and admiration for the armed forces is evidence that Pakistan’s future is secure and promising.
He urged the youth to remain vigilant against hostile designs and called for unity in the face of adversity.
Emphasising the deep-rooted bond between the nation and its armed forces, he described the youth as a resilient force—a Bunyan-um-Marsoos (Steel Wall)— standing firm alongside the military.
The ISPR chief stressed that with unity and unwavering resolve, the country will succeed in eradicating the menace of terrorism.
He also paid tribute to the educators of the nation on behalf of the Pakistan Army and underscored the importance of steadfast national cohesion in confronting external threats. “This steel wall is the people of Pakistan—the youth and the children,” he remarked.
Highlighting regional security concerns, Lt Gen Chaudhary pointed to India’s role in supporting terrorism within Pakistan, stating, “India is behind the terrorism you see in Pakistan today.”
