QUETTA: Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, has strongly denounced the Indian’s action on August 5, 2019, marking it as a somber day when the Hindu extremist party BJP nullified Kashmir’s special status by eliminating Articles 370 and 35A from the Indian Constitution.

In a statement issued on Friday, the CM remarked, “The relentless onslaught of Indian state-sponsored brutalities in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) persists.”

“Tens of thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred and now by ending the special status of Kashmir, fascist India has been taking away the lands of Kashmiris.”

He lamented that the Hindus are being settled and efforts are underway to convert the majority of Muslims into a minority, resulting in the profound misery of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Miseries of Kashmiri People

“An unsettling wave of Hindu settlements is underway, accompanied by a deliberate attempt to erode the Muslim majority, resulting in the profound misery of the Kashmiri populace,” he lamented.

Reaffirming the United Nations resolution, he stressed that Kashmiris deserve their fundamental right to exercise their vote.

The CM underscored, “Kashmir resonates as the voice of Pakistan’s people, and the bond between Pakistanis and their occupied Kashmiri counterparts is one of deep affection and fraternity.”

He observed, “India’s bid to stifle Kashmiri aspirations for self-determination has led them into a quagmire they cannot escape.”

“The notion that India can strip the Kashmiris of their rights through oppression and tyranny is a grave miscalculation,” the CM concluded.
