KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actress Yashma Gill has showed interest in friendship with Pakistani cricket sensation Babar Azam. In an interview, she said that there is no harm in friendship with Babar Azam.
Responding to a question about her favorite player, she excitedly named Babar Azam, praising him for being the world’s number-one batsman and termed him as proud of Pakistan.
She said, “I praise Babar Azam because he represents us nationally in such a way that he is the world’s number one batsman which is a great honor for our country.”
The host Fahad Ansari asked Yasma if any cricketer had ever contacted her, like Momina Iqbal and Nawal Saeed. Yashma said, “no”, saying she had never received any messages from cricketers.
Responding to another question, she said, “No, I never met any cricketer.”
The conversation took an interesting turn when the host asked if Yashma would like to be friends with Babar Azam. She honestly replied that she had no issue with becoming friends with.
Yashma Gill is a famous Pakistani actress and model, known for her lead roles in many TV dramas. She got a lot of praise for her antagonist role in the romantic series “Pyar Ke Sadqay.”
