Marriyum Condemns Attacks on Buildings of Radio Pakistan, APP in Peshawar

ISLAMABAD: Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, strongly condemned the attacks on the Radio Pakistan and APP offices in Peshawar on Wednesday.

The attack on Radio Pakistan and APP offices by PTI armed gangs was “condemnable and deplorable,” she stated in a message released by her office.

According to the minister, following the pattern of PTV attacks under Imran Khan’s orders, PTI workers today targeted Radio Pakistan and APP buildings.

She said violence against government officials, including women, vandalism, and property damage as acts of terrorism.

Marriyum alleges PTI of violence

Marriyum Aurangzeb claimed that PTI armed groups set fire to the Chaghi Mountain Monument and Radio Auditorium, revealing their state of mind.

She asked the Director General of Radio Pakistan to register an FIR against those responsible. According to the minister, the miscreants also attempted to stop government broadcasts by cutting off lines, which was a major crime. – APP
