ISLAMABAD: A wreath-laying ceremony organized was organized at Noor Khan Airbase, Rawalpindi to pay respect to five Chinese Engineers, who had lost their lives in a recent terrorist incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu laid the wreath at the Airbase. A 30-second’s silence also observed in honor the deceased persons.
Pakistani officials said that the Government of Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack. It added that the government will take every effort to bring terrorists and their facilitators to justice.
