Women’s T20 Asia Cup: India Beat Pakistan by 7 Wickets in First Match

DAMBULLA: India women cricket team beat Pakistan in their first match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Friday by seven wickets. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first with the they posting a target of 109 following being bowled out with four deliveries remaining. During the first innings, Sidra Ameen made the highest runs for Pakistan with 25 of 35 balls followed by Tuba Hassan’s 22 of 19 balls. Indian bowlers dominated the Pakistani batters with Deepti Sharma claiming 3-20, Renuka Singh 2-14, Pooja Vastrakar 2-31, and Shreyanka Patel closing this innings off with 2-14.
