HANGZHOU: Pakistan and Bangladesh will contest for the bronze medal in the Asian Games Women’s Cricket in Hangzhou, China on Monday.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, India beat Bangladesh while Sri Lanka thrash Pakistan in the Asian Games Women’s Cricket.

Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Athapaththu won the toss and decided to bowl first against Pakistan. Sri Lankan side dominated the match with the ball. Regular strikes from Udeshika Prabodhani (3/21), Achini Kulasuriya (1/7) and Kavisha Dilhari (2/15) meant that Pakistan were restricted to 75/9 only.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 6 wickets to reach the women’s cricket final at the games and set up a clash with India.
