Not only Afghan government but as well as the Afghan people are ungrateful that even passing more than 40 years in Pakistan, they are showing eyes to their benefactor. What one can expect from such people and such kind of government.
The Taliban regime in Afghanistan has been displaying rude and disrespectful behavior towards Pakistan is a fact. Since the Taliban took control of the country from that day their behavior and attitude towards Pakistan is not so good. Recently the tension between the two countries has once again aroused due to the Sep 6, incident that lead to the closure of Torkham border.
The weeklong closure of Torkham crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan has had a determine effect on bilateral relations, with trade ties particularly affected, while crossing considerable misery to those wishing to cross the Border.
The recent tension between the two countries aroused on September 6, at that time When Afghans had started building an unlawful structure on Pakistani territory, while Afghan troops resorted to indiscriminate firing, when they were confronted over the disputed construction.
Meetings between the two sides have failed to resolve the dispute, with the result that hundreds of vehicles remained stranded, waiting to go across the border. The closure of the border has reportedly resulted in losses of hundreds of millions of rupees, with perishable items—including fruit and vegetables from Afghanistan not getting to market in hot weather.
Pakistan has accused Afghanistan’s Taliban Government
Pakistan has accused Afghanistan’s Taliban government of constructing unlawful structure at a Key border crossing, calling it violation of territorial integrity.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has said that the border has been closed because of the indiscriminate firing from the side of Afghan Forces that led to the closure of most important trade route between the two countries.
Afghan troops resorted to firing and targeted the Pakistan military posts and putting the lives of both Pakistani and Afghans citizens at risk.
Last February such an incident had happened at the same place, when Afghan Forces were trying to construct Check Post on Pakistani side and Pakistani military foiled that effort of Afghanistan.
Afghan Government’s false statements
Afghan government has adopted the habit to make false statements, for example Afghan government has issued a statement, which says that Pakistani Military forces had started firing on Afghan forces, which is totally baseless and false, the truth and reality is that the Afghan Forces had tried to construct unlawful check post in Pakistani Territory and Pakistani Military had already informed the Afghan forces that the construction of check post was unlawful. Afghan government also said that Islamabad was causing hindrances and delays in reopening of the transit trade.
Pakistan Repeatedly urging Afghanistan to control the movement of armed attackers
Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Afghan government to control the movement of armed attackers and stop them from entering its territory. Afghanistan has denied such allegations. But on the other side Pakistan says that we have proofs that armed attackers come from Afghanistan and surge in armed attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in Baluchistan, since the Taliban came into power in 2021.
Most such attacks have been claimed by the outlawed Pakistani Taliban known as TTP, which is ideologically aligned with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
On the day of Torkham firing, TTP Claimed to have attacked two military check posts in remote Chitral district of KP.
Pakistan has also repeatedly said to the Afghan government to eliminate the safe havens of TTP in Afghanistan, but the Taliban government has a habit of deceiving and they did not take any action against the outlawed TTP. Pakistani brave military soldiers fought bravely and killed 12 TTP persons.
Accommodation of Millions of Afghan Citizens in Pakistan
When Soviet Union had attacked on Afghanistan in 1979, it was Pakistan who accommodated millions of Afghan citizens, treated them like brothers, gave them shelter and everything. But Afghan nation is totally and totally ungrateful, they even did not realize that yesterday the nation, who gave them shelter, should be given respect, but they forgot all those virtues of their benefactors and Pakistani government.
It was Pakistan who always supported Afghanistan but now they are trying to create disturbance in Pakistan through TTP and then deny, that we so not support them. But truth speaks louder and Pakistan with most intelligent Agency and Army has the capability and capacity to respond not only to TTP but to Afghan government as well. In short Afghan people are not trustworthy and they forget the virtues and ungrateful people.
