Why Did Nurse Lucy Letby Become a Hateful Human Being?

The killing of one Human being is the killing of all Humanity. We often see such kinds of stories about a brother has killed his brother for the sake of money and property. We also see the captions in newspapers that a man has killed a man for the sake of a girl. But this story is so tragic and full of sorrows and dejections that it has even happened in England, which calls itself the champion of human rights.

Lucy Letby, a 33-year-old nurse was performing her duty in a British Hospital’s neonatal Unit, was found guilty on Friday of murdering seven babies and trying to kill six others during a yearlong campaign of deception that saw her prey on the vulnerabilities of sick newborns and their anxious parents. Now there are many questions that why Lucy Letby murdered seven babies in the neonatal unit.

She committed her first murder in June 2015, when a newborn baby was murdered in the neonatal unit in Chester Hospital. The administration of the Hospital became astonished when they saw that some unusual cases of murdering babies had happened in the Hospital.

Lucy Letby was on duty at that time and then even she tried to give fake consolation and shared her sympathy with the parents of baby. One of the Senior Doctor of the hospital said that her attacks were a complete betrayal of trust placed in her.

The sad incidents happened and police launched a campaign to find that what were the causes of murdering babies in hospital and eventually, they find out the suspect, and that Lucy Letby and she was arrested in June 2020. But during the investigation she always and always tried to convince the police that the deaths of babies were because of the natural causes and she had nothing to do with these murders.

Did she murder babies in various ways?

She was accused of deliberately harming the babies in various ways, including by injecting air into their blood and mixing milk full of poison into their stomachs. One of the senior Doctor said that colleagues of the Lucy were aware of her actions and she always persuaded to convince them that the deaths were natural.

How The Police Came to Know That Lucy Was Responsible for These Murders?

Police had started the investigation, and they tried their best to reach a conclusion, for this they raided at the house of Lucy Letby, where they found a Memo… where she wrote such kind of words on some of the pages of the said Memo… I AM Evil, and that made the work of the police easy.

During these cases she tried not to leave a trace or any evidence. Families of the victims started came to Hospital for complaint but due to because of lack of evidence they went back home, but Police had also started the investigation and at last they captured her. During the investigation she confessed that yes” I DID… All these murders because she was fed up to care them properly. She also said during her confessional statement that I AM Evil, she has no right to be alive. She also confessed that it gave her some unique kind of thrill to kill the babies.

Did she had any Love affair with the Doctor?

She had a love affair with the married Doctor and she wanted to marry him, and some of the Doctors said that’s why she wanted to kill the babies, but why she wanted murder the innocent and angel of Babies. It’s such an astonishing case in the history of British.

Was Lucy suffering from Psychological disease?

Some of the Doctors and police officers said in their statements that a normal human can no do so, she had taken the extreme and severe steps to brought havoc to the families and parents as well. They also said that she was much clever as well and always tried to say that she was much punctual and loyal to her duty.

Did Letby proclaim her innocence before the Court?

Letby testified for 14 days proclaiming her innocence. But she failed to convince the Jury. Letby fought back tears as the Jury found her guilty on August 8. During the trial the defense argued that she was hard working and the deaths could have been due cause of natural. The fact Jury found her guilty on the basis of consolidate evidences.

Parents of the victims paid the gratitude of the Jury and best role police played in this bitter case in British history.
