LOS ANGELES: The 83rd Golden Globe Awards honoured the best in film and television over the past year, with historical drama Hamnet and animated K-pop film KPop Demon Hunters among the top winners.
The ceremony was held on Sunday in Beverly Hills and hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser.
Top Film and Director Awards
Hamnet won the Golden Globe for Best Film – Drama, while One Battle After Another took home Best Film – Musical or Comedy.
Paul Thomas Anderson received the Best Director award for One Battle After Another, which also earned him the Best Screenplay accolade.
The Secret Agent was named Best Non-English Language Film, and KPop Demon Hunters won Best Animated Film.
Jessie Buckley was named Best Actress in a Drama for Hamnet, while Wagner Moura won Best Actor in a Drama for The Secret Agent.
Rose Byrne secured Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and Timothée Chalamet was awarded Best Actor in the same category for Marty Supreme.
Supporting awards went to Teyana Taylor for Best Supporting Actress (One Battle After Another) and Stellan Skarsgård for Best Supporting Actor (Sentimental Value).
Ludwig Göransson won Best Original Score for Sinners, and the film also received the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.
Golden, from KPop Demon Hunters, took home Best Original Song.
Television Winners
On the small screen, Netflix drama The Pitt was named Best Drama Series, while The Studio won Best Comedy or Musical Series.
Rhea Seehorn received Best Actress in a Drama for Pluribus, and Noah Wyle won Best Actor in a Drama for The Pitt.
In comedy, Jean Smart was named Best Actress for Hacks, and Seth Rogen won Best Actor for The Studio.
Limited series honours went to Adolescence, with Stephen Graham winning Best Actor and Michelle Williams taking Best Actress.
Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty were recognised as Best Supporting Actor and Actress in Television, respectively.
Ricky Gervais won Best Stand-Up Comedy Performance, while Good Hang with Amy Poehler earned the inaugural Best Podcast award.
