MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp is unquestionably the most used messaging app, with billions of users, and it is constantly adding new and interesting features.
WhatsApp (also known as WhatsApp Messenger) is a freeware, cross-platform, centralized instant messaging (IM) and voice-over-IP (VoIP) service owned by the American company Meta Platforms that is available worldwide (formerly Facebook).
Since being taken over by Meta, the app has been frequently updated with new features.
Recent WhatsApp updates include call links, the ability to message yourself, and the ability to send files up to 2 gigabytes in size (GB). All of these new in-app features are currently in beta, but they will be available to everyone soon.
However, WhatsApp has released a new feature for Android and iOS users that allows them to create polls. It is now available on both mobile and desktop platforms. Polls are reflected in individual and group chats, with up to 12 options.
