ISLAMABAD: After collapsing because of a heart problem, Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha has remained unconscious for more than three weeks, a palace statement revealed. The 44-year-old Bajrakitiyabha is a potential heir to the throne.
On December 15, the eldest child of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn lost consciousness because of severe heart arrhythmia. The condition was an outcome of inflammation caused by a mycoplasma infection

Princess Bajarakitiyabha fell ill in northeastern Nakhon Ratchasima province where she had been preparing her dogs for a competition.
Her initial treatment was done in the province and later she was taken by helicopter to Thailand’s capital Bangkok.
As Bajarakitiyabha is one of three children who have been given formal titles by King Vajiralongkorn, she is eligible to become queen under the country’s constitution and a palace succession law.
