Water Release Update from IRSA

ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) reported on Monday that 344,400 cusecs of water were released from various rim stations, with an inflow of 403,300 cusecs.

At the Tarbela Dam, the water level stood at 1519.31 feet, which is 121.31 feet above its dead level of 1,398 feet. The inflow and outflow at Tarbela were recorded at 238,700 cusecs and 200,000 cusecs, respectively.

In the Mangla Dam on the River Jhelum, the water level was 1200.20 feet, surpassing its dead level of 1,050 feet by 152.20 feet. The inflow was 32,200 cusecs, and the outflow was 12,000 cusecs.

Water releases at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur were noted as 220,300, 196,600, 144,000, and 74,400 cusecs, respectively. Additionally, 51,300 cusecs were released from River Kabul at Nowshera, and 53,900 cusecs from River Chenab at Marala.
