War on Gaza: Over 100 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Bombardment

GAZA: Over 100 Palestinians were killed in early Saturday morning attacks across Gaza as Israel’s spy chief was in French capital for negotiations over ceasefire and release of hostages, western media reported.

The development takes place as fears for Palestinians in the region are deepening as the United Nations has warned of the increasing risk of famine and the UNWRA, desperately requires resources as Gaza Palestinian people are “in extreme danger while the world watches on”.

In a statement via social media, the UN humanitarian agency OCHA stated that without food and water supplies, the elevated risk of scarcity in the Gaza strip is projected to further increase.

AFP reported distraught people in Gazan queuing for aid and food in the area’s devastated north on Friday and holding a protest decrying their situation. Jabalia resident Oum Wajdi Salha said that they have no water, no food and they are very tired due to hunger. He said that their backs and eyes hurt because of smoke and fire in Gaza.

Israel’s offensive has killed more than 29,514 people, mostly children and women, Gaza’s health ministry said. According to the Health Ministry an Israeli attack on Friday destroyed the Gaza home of famous Palestinian comedian Mahmoud Zuaiter, killing around 23 people and injuring many.
