War in Sudan: Saudi Arabia Evacuates 6073 Peoples from 104 Nationalities

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia evacuated over 6000 people of 105 nationalities from war-hit Sudan on Thursday.

Saudi Foreign Ministry announced that 208 people evacuated by the Kingdom from Sudan landed in Jeddah on Thursday aboard HMS Taif.

Evacuates’ countries

The evacuees included nationals from Canada, Malta, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Syria, the Netherlands, Eritrea, Norway, Australia, Egypt, France, and the US.

The statement said that Saudi Arabia is keen to provide all basic necessities for the nationals of friendly states to facilitate their departure to their homelands.

The Kingdom’s latest evacuation brings the total number of people evacuated from war-torn Sudan to 6,073, including 246 Saudi nationals and 5,827 others from 104 nationalities.
