MADRID: Dozens of modern artworks remove from the Ukrainian capital Kyiv to protect them from Russian strikes will be displayed in a museum in Madrid on Tuesday.
The exhibition at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum of Art will display sketches, collages, and oil paintings.
The exhibition is one of a number of events showcasing the cultural heritage of Ukraine across Europe. It also tries to raise awareness of the threat posed to the artistic legacy of Ukraine which is under Russian attack since February.
Madrid exhibition to showcase artworks from 1900-30

According to curators, the exhibition is one of the all-inclusive surveys of Ukrainian modern art, created in the period of 1900 to 1930. The exhibition will last in the museum until 30 April and then go on show in Cologne, Germany from September 2023. – APP/AFP
