RAWALPINDI: A wanted terrorist was killed during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.
According to ISPR, on 28 January 23, security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.

During the operation, an intense fire exchange occurred between security forces and terrorists, ISPR said. Resultantly, one terrorist was killed. Ammunition and weapons were also recovered from the custody of the killed terrorist, ISPR added.
ISPR said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing innocent citizens.
