Voting Process Remained Peaceful in Punjab: ECP

LAHORE: The Pakistan Election Commission on Thursday said that the voting process remained smooth and without violence incidents in the Punjab province.

The spokesman for the Provincial Election Commissioner said that while a few minor complaints were received, the overall election proceedings proceeded without major disruptions.

Out of a total of 45 complaints from various parts of Punjab, 38 have already been resolved, with efforts ongoing to address the remaining 8 complaints promptly.

The spokesman emphasized the active role of monitoring officers and teams in ensuring adherence to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) code throughout the electoral process.
