ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has introduced a convenient service enabling citizens to access essential information about their constituency number, polling station, and other relevant details with a simple SMS to 8300.
As per an ECP spokesperson, “The commission has initiated the provision of comprehensive voting details to ensure a smooth voting process for the public. To obtain voting information, individuals can send their National Identity Card number (without hyphen) via SMS to 8300.”
It was noted that a service fee of Rs 2 per SMS is applicable for availing this facility. The spokesperson urged all voters to promptly retrieve voting details for themselves and their family members, emphasizing the significance of avoiding any inconvenience at the polling station. —APP
