ISLAMABAD: President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day official visit.
The invitation was extended by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar welcomed the Tajik president at Islamabad International Airport.

Both countries to sign various MoUs during visit
During the visit, both countries will discuss ways to strengthen mutual cooperation in different fields. Various MoUs and agreements will also be signed between the neighboring countries.

Tajikistan is Pakistan’s closest neighbor and important partner in the Central Asian region.
Both countries are linked through historical, cultural, and religious bonds and have strong ties of exceptional cordiality and mutual respect. The two brotherly nations also hold common stances on various international and regional issues.
