ISLAMABAD: A video exposed the brutalities and fake encounters of Indian forces in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), laying bare its nefarious designs of blaming Pakistan.

The video shows secret letters about how Indian security personnel plan illegal activities, including killing people in fake encounters to get promotions.

The video showcases a person as killed but he was actually in the Indian military’s custody. The Indian security personnel could be seen claiming that the Pakistan army killed the person but later, he was found alive in an Indian military hospital alive.

Fake encounters and killings return to Kashmir

According to the BBC, three men went missing in IIOJK and later, their bodies were founded near the Line of Control. But during investigations, the police found that the men had been killed in a staged gun battle in a frontier place. The BBC said that fake encounters have returned to the valley.

The probe revealed that a major in the Indian military kidnapped the three-person by offering them jobs as porters.

The military troops later informed the police that they had killed three militants. The Indian army also claimed to have found Pakistani currency, weapons, and ammunition from the so-called militant men.

Later, the major was suspended and transferred from his post. The military has pledged to “cooperate” with the police in investigations.

According to the BBC, fake encounters and extrajudicial killings involving Indian security forces have returned to occupied Kashmir.

Fake encounters

According to AL Jazeera, on January 23, the Indian military passed a not-guilty ruling in the Pathribal case of 2000, in which five civilians were executed in Indian-occupied Kashmir by the Indian army, terming them ‘dreaded militants’.

Indian army kills Kashmiris in fake encounters to malign freedom struggle

In the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that Indian troops are killing innocent Kashmiri youth in fake encounters to malign the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle as well as Pakistan.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that the occupation troops pick up Kashmiri youth from their homes, take them to areas near the Line of Control and kill them in fake encounters after dubbing them as Pakistani militants. He said that the troops martyred three Kashmiri youths in the Uri sector of Baramulla on Thursday.
