ISLAMABAD: Very hot, humid weather is expected in most parts, while gusty winds and dust rising are likely over plain areas during the next twelve hours in the country.
However, rain/ dust-thunderstorm are likely in Islamabad, the Potohar region, Northeast Punjab, North/East Balochistan, Kashmir and Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The temperature recorded in Islamabad is thirty-five-degree centigrade, thirty-seven-degree centigrade in Lahore, thirty-three-degree centigrade in Karachi, thirty-six-degree centigrade in Peshawar, twenty-nine-degree centigrade in Quetta, and thirty-four-degree centigrade in Gilgit Baltistan.
According to the Met Office, during the next 24 hours, very hot and humid weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while dust-raising/gusty winds are likely in the afternoon. However, Dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected in upper/central Punjab, Islamabad, Potohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North/East Balochistan, and Kashmir.
Temperature recorded during last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, hot and humid weather continued over most parts of Pakistan. However, in Rawalakot, Kashmir and Muzaffarabad 5mm rain was recorded, and in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balakot 2mm rain was recorded.
The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 49 degrees centigrade in Nokkundi and 48 degrees centigrade in Dalbandian.
