TASHKENT: Uzbekistan and the Federal Treasury of Russia have discussed enhancing their bilateral cooperation.
The talks took place during a meeting between Gulnora Rakhimova, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, and a delegation led by Alexander Mikhaylik, Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury of Russia.
Rakhimova highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, particularly in public finance management, has been growing annually.
The meeting also covered the activities of the Treasury Service Committee of Uzbekistan.
In 2023, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Treasury Service Committee, and the Federal Treasury of Russia signed a cooperation program for the years 2024-2026.
