TASHKENT: The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kuwait have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen diplomatic cooperation.
Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has said the document aims to enhance cooperation between the two diplomatic offices.
“My colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and I had in-depth discussions on all the issues on our bilateral agenda. There’s no doubt that the partnership between Uzbekistan and Kuwait has significant untapped potential,” Minister Saidov wrote on his social media account.
He went on to say that cooperation priorities between the two nations include fostering economic relations, encouraging regular exchanges, improving regional connectivity, strengthening public diplomacy, establishing a strong legal framework, and building human resource capacity.
