TEHRAN: The international community has united in condemning the brutal terrorist attacks in Kerman, southeastern Iran. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan conveyed his heartfelt condolences in an official message, expressing deep regret over the tragic events in Kerman. President Mirziyoyev offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs, hoping for their eternal peace, and wished swift recovery for those injured in the attacks.
In a separate statement, the Algerian Foreign Ministry strongly denounced the terrorist explosions that occurred in Kerman. The ministry expressed its firm condemnation of the heinous acts, extending sympathy to the victims and their families. Meanwhile, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, condemned the terrorist attack and expressed solidarity in the face of the tragic events in Kerman.
The twin bomb blasts, occurring ten minutes apart near the burial site of Iran’s revered General Qassem Soleimani, unfolded as a large crowd had gathered to commemorate the fourth anniversary of his martyrdom.
