TASHKENT: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a visit to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend the first Summit of Heads of State Central Asia – Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf on 18-19 July.
The summit is likley to be attended by the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bahrain, Oman, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The meeting will consider problems of developing interregional cooperation in the political, economic, investment, trade, cultural and humanitarian sectors, as well as international and regional politics.
Meetings scheduled during Mirziyoyev’s visit
A number of bilateral meetings are also scheduled to be held within the framework of the gathering.
