LAHORE: Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) and a police joint team on Tuesday conducted a raid to arrest former chief minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar in Lahore.
However, the team failed to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader from his temporary residence in Punjab University’s colony.
Case against Usman Buzdar
ACE wants Buzdar and his brothers in the case of the illegal transfer of state-owned land of 900 kanals.
A few months ago, the team raided Buzdar and his brothers’ houses in Dera Ghazi Khan (DGK) and Taunsa Sharif but failed to capture them.
