WASHINGTON: A contractor for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Gaza Strip was killed with his two kids and wife in an Israeli attack in November, his employer stated on Saturday.
In a statement, non-profit organization Global Communities said that they are deeply saddened to confirm the tragic loss of its colleague, Hani Jnena along with his family member in the Gaza Strip, including his wife, Abeer, and their two children, Zayna and Mariam.
The statement maintained that based on the information available to the organization, the young family was killed on November 5, during an Israeli assault in the Al Sabra, Gaza at the house of Hani’s in-laws.

The family has recently sought safety there following fleeing Israeli air strikes in their own area of Al Sheikh in Gaza, saying his in-laws were also killed.
