DIR LOWER, Pakistan: A 54-year-old American woman and a 35-year-old Lower Dir professor are united in a story of boundless love that defies distances, borders, and limitations.

The American woman travelled from the United States to Pakistan and eventually made her way to the Malakand district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) in search of her soulmate.

She encountered an unforeseen obstacle when local authorities detained her on Wednesday and politely escorted her back to Malakand because of security concerns.

This story is the third to have an international romance coming together in the beautiful surroundings of Dir, Pakistan. The relationship between the American woman and Professor Dr. Abass blossomed into a meaningful and long-lasting love affair after beginning as virtual contacts on Facebook. Motivated by her desire to reunite with her beloved in a place known for its challenges and security concerns, the woman successfully overcame the difficulties of acquiring a Pakistani visa.

DSP Chakdarra, Bakhat Jamal revealed the complicated story to the media, revealing that the couple had sought lodging at a neighborhood hotel in Malakand, their intended destination.

The lack of the essential NOC (No Objection Certificate) required to enter Dir stopped their efforts to fulfil their mutual dreams. Current security concerns prompted cautious measures to protect their well-being, sabotaging their desire to be together.
