New Delhi: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Thursday that he asked Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to finish the ongoing war in Ukraine.
According to AFP, the US top diplomat urged his Russian counterpart during a brief and unannounced meeting that was the first interaction between the two since Russia’s invasion.

Antony Blinken told the media in New Delhi that he asked Sergei Lavrov that he and many said last week at UN and G-20 to end war in Ukraine. Blinken added that he also asked Sergei Lavrov to engage in a meaningful talks and diplomacy that can yield lasting peace.
