US President, Ukraine’s Zelensky Ignoring Russia’s Concerns: Kremlin

ISLAMABAD: After the visit by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine to the United States, The Kremlin said Thursday that Washington and Kyiv were ignoring Russia’s concerns.

US President Joe Biden committed around $1.8 billion worth of military supplies. The supplies to be sent for the first included the Patriot missile defense system.

Kremlin says US involved in indirect war with Russia

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov speaking to reporters said that expressed regret over the fact that neither US President Joe Biden nor President Zelensky spoke even a few words that would hint at a readiness to listen to Moscow’s concerns.

Peskov furthered that no warning was issued to Zelensky over the unending shelling of residences Donbas’ villages and town. Also, there were no meaningful calls for peace.

He went on to say that the events of the meeting suggested Washington was actually involved in an indirect war with Russia and will do so till the last remaining Ukrainian.
