WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden will hold talks with Jordanian King Abdullah at the White House on Thursday, officials said on Tuesday.

The Jordanian embassy in Washington said that King Abdullah arrived in Washington and also held meeting with US House of Representatives speaker Kevin McCarthy at the Capitol on Tuesday.

Jordan’s royal court said that King Abdullah and the US President will discuss bilateral ties and mean to further enhance cooperation in different fields.
It added that the leaders of Jordan and the US will also discuss regional and international developments, especially the Palestinian cause and Washington role in this regard. The two sides will also exchange views over crisis in Ukraine.
