WASHINGTON: The US military has carried out two more attacks in Yemen early on Wednesday, destroying 2 Houthi anti-ship missiles that were aimed at the Red Sea and were preparing to launch, the U.S. military claimed in a statement.
The U.S. strikes, which took place at around 2:30 a.m., are the latest against the Iran-backed group over its targeting of Red Sea shipping, and followed a larger round of assaults a day earlier.
Arab media citied Reuters as saying that the US military has carried out two more attacks in Yemen Wednesday.

The Houthis have said their assaults are in solidarity with Palestinians as Israel strikes the Gaza Strip. The strikes have disrupted shipping and deepened concern that fallout from the Hamas- Israel war could destabilize the Middle East, Reuters reported.
